Good Agencies Reviews DNA

No agency owners actually personally sit down daily to search for jobs for their own models– DNA CEO David Bonnouvrier does. There is such a personal feeling with DNA Model Management.

Bonnouvrier understands the critical nature of connections in this business. He maintains relationships that go back a decade with some of the most influential power players in the industry.

When David isn’t plugging away for his models himself, he has an arsenal ruthless bookers like Marguerite Franklin, Didier Fernandez and Trudi Tapscott to back him up.   What you have is an agency of pure ambition, where the bookers take personal accountability.

DNA has posted spectacular results over the past few years.  From runway to editorials to campaigns, the new generation of modeling’s most valuable players NataliaEditaMagdalenaEugenia,  Eva J who are all from DNA.   Read about the success stories here:  http://www.dnamodels.com/newsletter/

Perhaps the personal touch at this agency makes it too small and DNA loses sight of the bigger picture.  DNA claims to represent celebrities, but if you take a look at their celebrities board there is hardly anyone of particular note, at least outside the tight-knit modeling world.

Good Agencies Reviews Click Model Management

Click Model Management, Inc. is the largest model management company, representing over 1000 models.  Click was founded in 1980 in New York City, but has opened offices throughout the United States.  The name “CLICK” is a reference to the sound a camera makes and is intended to pay respect to the photographers and crew who make magic happen.

Click represents a wide variety of talent with divisions focusing on Women, Men, Plus Size, Runway, Showroom, FIT, and Television Commercials.  Click has a full service Hair/Makeup and Styling division called Illusions, which was acquired at the time that Zoli Models became part of Click Models in 2001.

Many of the world’s most famous faces such as Isabella Rossellini, Uma Thurman, Whitney Houston, Elle MacPherson and Grace Jones have been represented by Click.  Of course, Click gets their models some really hot jobs with Givenchy and Vogue Paris, check it out on their blog: http://www.clickmodel.com/blog/

With so many models under their representation can all of Click’s models be quality talent? While Click has represented some of the biggest names in the industry, how can such a large company maintain quality control over the years in so many locations?  I’d be willing to bet the some of the models, especially those represented from smaller markets have never even been on a shoot.  From a casting director’s point of view it’s probably hit or miss with click.
